What a wonderful evening we had to celebrate our 3rd Annual Foundation Day coach and player tournament last Friday evening (13 Feb) at Fawkner Park. The coaches were auctioned off, with players winning the highest bids ensuring their partner for the evening. Congratulations to Jose and Nicholas for taking away the 2026 Cup.
Another highlight was our first Foundation One-point slam! Fiercely contested by coaches and players alike, Raku managed to hold his nerve and take the title and the $1000 Lululemon voucher. Congratulations indeed.
Thanks to Lululemon, and all the others who supported us with prizes: Rod Laver via the Stephen Walter Foundation; Tennis Australia; T2; Ken Rosewall; Gilson’s; Bistro Gitan; Brokenwood Wines, and VTA.
And the effort the staff put in before and during the evening was just wonderful. Thank you to all – it was a brilliant evening. And, together with our partners Investa, we have raised $16000 during the Summer of Tennis to support the adults and children on our programs
