VTAF Supporters club
The Foundation supporters club is a key part of our vision to expand the benefits of playing tennis and being part of the tennis community to as many people as possible. The Foundation focuses on supporting those who, due to a variety of circumstances, would be unable to benefit from the advantages that inclusion brings, and our supporters are key to our success.
‘Help’ includes a number of actions, from volunteering time to help organise events, putting ones’ skills forward to help the Board keep the charity running, and making regular donations to ensure the continuity of our support for those less fortunate than ourselves.
Please join with us to help us in this work.

What people are saying
Thank you, VTAF, for supporting our family during a time when things were not going so well for us. We are proud to be part of the VTA community. We love tennis, and for us, the Friday class in Fawkner Park is the highlight of the week. Because of your support, we were able to keep practising the sport we love and stay involved with the club, building strength and friendship, even when life had some difficult moments, it’s good to know we can count on you. Thank for making us feel like we truly belong. One of us was even able to achieve recognition for tennis at school, I couldn’t have done it without your support and all the coaches. Thank you for supporting our family and for everything you do for the kids at VTA, It really means a lot.”
Barbara and her childrenI am writing to inform you of the benefits and positive impact the VTA clinics and workshops have had on our school and students. Participating in sporting activities has numerous benefits for students and the VTA was able to provide us with qualified teachers to increase the student’s engagement with physical activity that requires coordination, ball skills and teamwork. After participating in the classes, students had a renewed excitement for practicing a new skill but also in practicing resilience and having a positive mindset. VTA was able to provide our students with insight into a new sport and what extracurricular activities can be.

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible support and generosity you have shown my family during this difficult period. Becoming a single parent after the loss of my children’s father has been an overwhelming experience, but your kindness has truly brought tears to my eyes. Thanks to your unwavering support, you have made it possible for me to keep my three young boys active in a sport they love. This means the world to us, as it provides them with a sense of normalcy and joy during a challenging time. Your generosity has made a significant Impact on our lives, and we are forever grateful. Thank you for being there for us when we needed it the most. With deepest appreciation,
Marie D
