Foundation Day March 23rd 2025

We’re all looking forward with excitement to our second annual Foundation Day charity tournament, which takes place on Sunday March 23 at Powlett Reserve Tennis Centre (5-8pm).

Last year’s event was a huge success, raising nearly $10,000 to support Rally4Ever, which is a charity with very similar aims. This year we plan to dedicate the funds raised to provide tennis programs for the pupils at the Victorian College for the Deaf, and for RFE.

The theme this year is ‘Community of Spirit’. There will be plenty for all to enjoy. You can bid to play with your favourite coach – or the best one in your opinion, if they are not one and the same! The auction is on-line at: Shout For Good. Put in your bid and be ready to beat anything else that is offered. If you do lose out, we will partner you with another player, so you can join in. The format will be doubles Fast Fours.

You can also make a donation to attend as a spectator, see this link: Shout For Good (not the same link as above). This will also give you a chance to play if you wish, and provide you with food, drink, and excellent company for the evening. There will also be Coach exhibition matches, which should be real fun to watch.

We have now launched our own Foundation website. We are keen to enrol as many people as possible to our Supporters group, to help assist the Committee with activities, and support us with regular donations – donate here.

See you on March 23rd!
